Dating while Married

Dating while Married:
Is it important or not?
I think that it is and I didnt know really HOW important it was until I needed to get out and do it myelf. LOL Now....just to clear it up a bit here....I'm talking about dating our SPOUSE! Not someone else while married.:0) Although some out there feel the need to do that as well and hey, I'm not a judge but I'm just saying. Hopefully you try this before it gets to that point but this is about dating our spouses while married! LOL
Much to often once the ring is on the finger the game of "house" becomes the routine. Sort of like playing that favorite game over and over until everyone is sick of it! We become almost robotic in our emotions and responses to everyday things INCLUDING our spouse. Oh wow...its tuesday night! 6 o'clock...dinner, 7 o'clock bathe the kids and 8 o'clock put them in bed. 9 o'clock shower and 9:30 sex with the husband (or wife which ever way your looking at this) 9:40...bed. That sucks!!!
What the heck ever happened to being followed into the pantry because they just couldnt keep their hands off of you? Writing notes and leaving them hidden only to be found by our lover later in the day. Making love 3-4-8 times a night because you just cant stand not doing so with your lover so close to you! Ladies....getting dressed up to meet your lover because well...you want to look your best for them. Give them the impression that THIS is what they will wake up to everyday for the rest of their lives! lol (Suckers)! lol Guys...holding in those gases that are saved up for those special moments of cuddle time after the ring is on their finger...when you shove your lovers head under the covers and giver them the ol" Dutch Oven!
Now of course, being comfortable and feeling free and secure enough in the relationship is so important as well. But letting the other initial things just fade away into oblivion can be fatal to any relationship.
Those of you who know me and my husband know that we love to have our date nights. ;0) I do my best to get dressed up still to look my best for him. And he does the same. I tell him all the time that "little boys dont want to keep the toys that the other little boys dont want to play with!" LOL But it's true to a point. I give him no reason to worry. Everything that I do is done right in front of him. Nothing too bad and if it gets close....he tells me. LOL Same goes for him. Communication while having fun is also important. Its how we learn. Trust me...he doesnt go with me to karaoke because he loves to hear me sing. LOL He knows how much I love having him there with me and that there are rewards given to him later on in the evening for sharing that time with me. A little positive reinforcement goes a long way as well.
Dates are even more important if you have children. Yes they are the most important things in our lives! not denying that at all. But how happy are they when mommy and daddy arent getting along? We tell our kids.."when you stop hearing 'those' noises from mommy and daddys room...THEN it's time to worry"!
How many of us have spent so much time with our kids that the only conversation we have had all day was that with a 2 year old. Whinning and crying and before long we are whinning and crying too. We need adult time. Socializing with others our own age. Talking about something other then elmo and spongebob. It revives us. Makes our adult meltdowns less frequent. We dont have to do this daily. I'm not saying that, Maybe once a week?
My point is this....Keep the Magic Alive! Dont get stuck in a rutt wondering what the heck happened to us?! Nurture your relationships. If its beginning to fade in areas then spice it up a bit. Don't let them think that this is all you got. Surprises are nice at times. Being spontaneous is nice at times too.
When our relationships are healthy and happy...so are we!

Vibrators in public

Ok...so I got this new little product in a little while ago. Its a remote control vibrator. YES! LOL What I mean is this....It's a little curved bullet that can be inserted vaginally so that the curve presses against the G-Spot area and the completely wireless remote can go roughly 16 feet away (give or take, my experiment says further then that..but at least 16 feet distance) and be used uncontroled by the woman, but completely controled by her partner! How fun is that?! LOL
My question here is this....would you play with it? and if so....would you go out in public an play with it? and if so wouldnt you be concerned about losing the remote and a little kid finding it not knowing what it is (like in that movie) and start playing with it like a race car while your flopping around on the floor like a fish?!?! LOL Just curious..........

Toys in the bedroom

Just curious... is using a toy in the bedroom all that bad?! I'll post why I'm asking and my opinion later on today. ;0) Make sure that you post in here by clicking the (add comment) right above here. ;0)

G-Spot

Ok...thanks to another friend and our conversation earlier I have another topic to talk about today. ;0)
The G-spot. Fact or Fiction?
We have all heard about this hidden little jewel. And many of us have felt like Nicholas Cage in National Treasure trying to discover its where abouts. Some have chalked it up to Myth and then we have the few who have claimed to have found it. To which the rest of us go...uh...yeah right! LOL
Well I'm here to tell you that IT'S TRUE!! The very illusive G-Spot DOES in fact exist and I'm happy to tell you where. Well at least the area in which you can narrow your search. ;0)
It just so happens that Passion Parties sells a fantastic product called G-Spot creme. Now my husband and I have an awesome sex life. Pleasing each other has never been an issue but in that deep dark area in the backs of our minds we have wondered about this "spot" from time to time and so this product peaked our interest a bit. So I will admit that with skeptical eyes I tried the G-Spot Creme. OMG!!!! I....I just...I mean...WOW!!
Ok...so here is what you do....
Take a couple pumps of the G-Spot creme and insert it into your vagina as far as your finger will go. Then while curling your finger in an upward circular motion (like a come hither) you spread the G-Spot Creme on the upper lining of your vaginal wall. Next you wait a few minutes (about 3-5) occupying your time elsewhere while the creme takes effect. What this G-Spot creme does is encourages the blood flow to that specific area intensifying the sensations there which helps draw the "spot" more to the surface making it more accessible for stimulation during intercourse. Now Charles and I did something a little different and placed some extra on the tip of his penis. Although the G-Spot Creme does nothing really (physically speaking) for the man, we basically just used his penis to make sure that the creme was reaching the area in which we wanted. But I will say this... Feedback reported to me was that when the woman experiences a G-Spot orgasam during intercourse, the man ENJOYS IT! And it's ALL good!
So my advice to you is DONT GIVE UP! Get out there and find your SPOT and lay claim to it! ;0)

Is faking it a bad thing?!

Hmm...Is faking it a bad thing?
I mean some people get pissed when they find out that the person they were just with faked their orgasam! Then there are those that think that it is a very caring thing to do. Who's right? or is there even a right answer to give?
Let's start with the things that may be found offensive to the person who is being "faked out" so to speak. Here they are, feeling as though they have just given their performance of a life time and their partner didn't cum. Uhh...maybe Inadequacy? "What was wrong?", "Why didn't they"? Betrayal, feeling lied to (which may lead to other issues in the relationship)? Then there is un concerned, un able to pleasure you and just plain disapointed with themselves and maybe even be feeling the fear of possibly losing you. Who knows?
Now we have the person who has faked it. I would think that they more then likely feel as though they have done a good thing. Probably feeling that they were showing how much they cared for their partner. Thinking that just because they weren't (due to whatever reason) going to orgasam, it didn't mean that their partner shouldn't. And its pretty well known that 9 times out of 10, vocalization, moaning or whatever the moment calls for, helps to intensify the orgasam to whatever degree of difference. But be it a little or alot....I'd have to say that the old saying "Something's better than nothing!" applies here for many.
Oh wait....But then we also have that person who feels that they can physically tell when and IF a woman is faking. Um....yeah right! Oop's...I mean, I'm just saying..... ;0) What do you think?

Intimacy

Ok, a friend, who wishes to remain anonymous, just gave me a topic to write about this morning. YAY!!! thanks! LOL
Intimacy:
what a HUGE part of a relationship this one word plays. Sex, well... its just that. although great fun, its main role is to serve a reproductive purpose. Thats it. But ad Intimacy and .....well...now were talking! Intimacy is all about discovering, exploring, sharing and opening up oneself to another in a very close and personal way.
Where sex is a physical part that is important, a relationship can exist without it. However; it will fail miserably without intimacy as its partner. Sure you can get together with someone for the sole purpose of sex, and yes it can be satisfying. But is nothing compared to a relationship that has both.
some examples of this are easy when we look back on some of our old relationships, the first couple we ever had. It was more then likely a physical attraction. I mean honestly, what did those relationships consist of? and as we got older and more mature our desires and needs in a relationship changed. We wanted snuggles and hand holding, conversations and feedback from our partners. All the things that a lot of men roll their eyes at.."oh crap here we go again, she wants to talk about feelings!" lol We searched for intimacy. Think of it as the glue in a relationship. Proof of its effects are seen in those relationships that celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary and more. Sure sex was involved but we also know that as time goes by it becomes less and less important and after a certain age, for most it becomes impossible physically.
Intimacy on the other hand, never fades, and can be achieved at any age of the individual and at any stage in the relationship.
How many of us have gone to bed, maybe feeling tired after dealing with kids all day or work, maybe even feeling under the weather and our partner feels anything BUT. And if we just roll over and ignore their "need" they get upset (even though they claim they are fine) and the next morning there is what I call a "funk". A quietness that leaves you feeling unsettled? Again all is claimed as fine, but there are not many smiles, they seem depressed and you cant figure it out and get nothing out from asking "What's wrong?". Then once you do share intimacy and or sex, all is well again in the world! lol
The need to share emotions and physical touch are huge. Even men require it. Although they have that "macho" way at times of expressing it. They need physical touch as much as we do.
So my advice today......Reach out and touch someone! But then follow the F**** through!!!! LMAO

Oops!

Soo...there I am, enjoying "alone time" with my husband lastnight, when right in the middle....REALLY close to the finish actually, you know where the thoughts are more focused and well...yeah...The puppy starts whinning and jumps up and licks my face, I'm guessing out of concern for my well being, I dont know, but talk about a mood killer!!! LOL It was worse than the midnight interference from the kid who just had a bad dream! I mean really! This was actual contact and just UGH! grossed me out!! (Charles, on the other hand, was willing to deal)
Once the bad dream your child just had is scared away then you've gotten hit with..."what were you and daddy doing?" to which we reply something along the lines of..."Ummm....us?, nothing hun, I was just helping daddy support the bed while he adjusted the sheets and blankets again! He wasnt sleeping well and uhhh...yeah...want a cookie?!" The recovery of the "fumble" is much easier!
Sooo.....note to self....not only make sure that the kids are occupied with either with sleep, snack, tv/video game, play or locked door! But for goodness sake!! keep the concerned little puppies away as well!!!
